Privacy Policy
Last Updated: January 20, 2026
Trackit, Inc. (“Trackit,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) values the privacy of individuals who use our applications, websites (including https://gettrackit.com), and any services that link to this Privacy Policy (collectively, the “Services”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and otherwise process personal information about users of the Services (“Users”). For Users located in the European Economic Area (“EEA”), the United Kingdom (“UK”), or Switzerland, Trackit is the ‘controller’ of your personal information, unless a separate agreement specifies that Trackit acts as a ‘processor’ on behalf of a business customer. Beyond this Privacy Policy, your use of the Services is also subject to our Terms of Service.
When you use our Services on behalf of one of our customers (e.g., where our customer is your employer), we may process the information you provide to us in accordance with separate contractual terms between us and the customer. In that context, we are the data processor and the customer is the data controller, and the customer’s privacy policies will apply to the processing of your personal information. Where we act as a processor, the customer’s instructions—set out in the applicable data-processing agreement—govern our processing of your personal information, and this Privacy Policy will apply only to the extent it does not conflict with those instructions.
TRANSPARENCY: INFORMATION WE COLLECT
We may collect a variety of personal information from or about you or your devices from various sources, as described below.
A. Information You Provide to Us
Registration and Account Information. If you create an account to use our Services, we may ask you for your personal information, including your name, email address, mailing address, phone number. If you sign up using your Google or Facebook account, we will also receive information from Google or Facebook (as applicable), such as your name and email address. We may also ask you to provide optional demographic information (such as your country, job title, or preferred language) to help us tailor your experience, but you are not required to provide this information.
Communications. If you contact us directly, we may receive other personal information about you. For example, when you contact us to learn more about our Services or for customer support, we may receive your name, email address, phone number, and the contents of your message, as well as any other information you choose to provide to us. If you subscribe to receive newsletters, we may collect your email address. When we send you emails, we may use embedded pixels or other technologies to track information about your receipt and interaction with our emails, such as whether and when you open them, whether you access any links included in our emails, how long you read our emails, whether you forward our emails and to whom, your Location Information (described below), and your Device Information (described below), to learn how to deliver a better customer experience and improve our Services.
Where required by applicable law, we will obtain your consent before using any non-essential tracking technologies in marketing emails. You may withdraw that consent at any time by adjusting your email preferences or contacting us at privacy@gettrackit.com.
Careers. If you decide to apply for a job with us, you may submit your contact information and your resume online. We will collect the personal information you choose to provide on your resume or application, such as your education and employment experience. You may also apply through a third-party service, such as LinkedIn. If you do so, we will collect any information you make available to us via LinkedIn.
Contact Forms. If you complete one of our contact forms, such as to join our waitlist, we will ask you for your name, email address, phone number, and information about your cars.

Our third-party partners, such as analytics partners, may use these technologies to collect information about your online activities over time and across different services. Cookies are small text files containing a string of alphanumeric characters. We may use both session cookies and persistent cookies, as well as local storage or session storage. A session cookie disappears after you close your browser. A persistent cookie remains after you close your browser and may be used by your browser on subsequent visits to our Services.
Where required by applicable law (for example, in the EEA, UK, and California), we set non-essential cookies only after you have provided consent through our cookie banner or preference center, and you may update those choices at any time.

HOW WE DISCLOSE THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Affiliates and Subsidiaries. We may share any information we receive with our affiliates or subsidiaries for any of the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
Vendors and Service Providers. We may share any information we receive with vendors and service providers retained in connection with the provision of our Services. We require all vendors that process personal information on our behalf to provide at least the same level of privacy and security protection that we offer under this Privacy Policy and, where applicable, to commit to written data-processing agreements.
Third-Party App Integrations. If you choose to enable, access, or use third-party applications or services (for example, YouTube or Slack) that integrate with our Services, we may share certain information with the third-party provider to facilitate the integration. The information we disclose is limited to what is necessary to enable the requested functionality, and the third-party provider’s use of your personal information is governed by its own privacy policy.
Analytics Partners. We use analytics services such as Google Analytics to collect and process certain analytics data. These services may also collect information about your use of other websites, apps, and online resources. You can learn about Google’s practices by going to https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/partners/, and opt-out of them by downloading the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, available at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
As Required by Law and Similar Disclosures. We may access, preserve, and disclose your personal information if we believe doing so is required or appropriate to: (a) comply with law enforcement requests and legal process, such as a court order or subpoena; (b) respond to your requests; or (c) protect your, our, or others’ rights, property, or safety. For the avoidance of doubt, the disclosure of your personal information may occur if you post any objectionable content on or through our Services.
Merger, Sale, or Other Asset Transfers. We may disclose and transfer your personal information to service providers, advisors, potential transactional partners, or other third parties in connection with the consideration, negotiation, or completion of a corporate transaction in which we are acquired by or merged with another company, or we sell, liquidate, or transfer all or a portion of our business or assets. The use of your personal information following any of these events will be governed by the provisions of this Privacy Policy in effect at the time the applicable information was collected.
Consent. We may also disclose information from or about you or your devices with your permission.
YOUR RIGHTS AND CHOICES
Marketing Communications. You can unsubscribe from or otherwise opt out of our promotional emails via the link provided in the emails, if applicable, or by directly corresponding with us. Even if you opt out of receiving promotional messages from us, you may continue to receive administrative messages from us. You can opt out from our promotional SMS messages by replying “STOP” to our message.
Do Not Track. There is no accepted standard on how to respond to Do Not Track signals, and we do not respond to such signals. However, where your browser broadcasts the Global Privacy Control (“GPC”) signal, we will interpret this as a request to opt-out of the sale or sharing of personal information in states where such interpretation is required by law.
If you choose not to provide us with information we collect, some features of our Services may not work as intended.
THIRD PARTIES
Our Services may contain links to other websites, products, or services that we do not own or operate (“Third-Party Services”). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these Third-Party Services. Please be aware that this Privacy Policy does not apply to your activities on these Third-Party Services or any information you disclose to these Third-Party Services. We encourage you to read the privacy policies of these Third-Party Services.
SECURITY
We make reasonable efforts to protect your information by using physical and electronic safeguards designed to improve the security of the information we maintain. However, because no electronic transmission or storage of information can be entirely secure, we can make no guarantees as to the security or privacy of your personal information. We also maintain a written incident-response plan that includes notification procedures consistent with the ‘Data Breach Response’ section above.
INTERNATIONAL USERS AND VISITORS
Our Services are hosted in the United States (“U.S.”) and intended for visitors located within the U.S. If you choose to use our Services from the European Union or other regions of the world with laws governing data collection and use that may differ from U.S. law, then please note that you are transferring your personal information outside of those regions to the U.S. for storage and processing. We may also transfer your data from the U.S. to other countries or regions in connection with storage and processing of data, fulfilling your requests, and operating our Services. Where required by applicable law, we rely on appropriate safeguards for international data transfers, such as standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA), as applicable.
CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age required by applicable law, including under 16 years of age in the European Union. If you learn that a Minor has provided us with personal information in violation of this Privacy Policy, then you may alert us at privacy@gettrackit.com. DATA BREACH RESPONSE In the event of a personal-data breach, we maintain policies and procedures designed to assess the risk and to respond promptly. Where the breach is likely to result in a risk to the rights and freedoms of individuals, we will notify the competent supervisory authority within seventy-two (72) hours, and, when required by applicable law, we will also inform you without undue delay. Our breach notifications will describe the nature of the breach, the likely consequences, the measures we are taking, and advice on how you can mitigate potential adverse effects.
CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We will post any adjustments to the Privacy Policy on this page, and the revised version will be effective when it is posted. If we materially change the ways in which we use or share personal information previously collected from you through our Services, we will attempt to notify you through our Services, by email, or other means.
DATA RETENTION
We retain personal information for as long as (i) your account is active or (ii) necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. After closure of your account, we generally retain personal information for a maximum of six (6) years to satisfy tax, contractual, and audit requirements, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. We retain marketing-related information for no more than two (2) years after your last interaction with us unless you withdraw your consent sooner. When we no longer need to process personal information, we will either delete or anonymize it, or, if that is not possible, securely store it and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.
DATA PROTECTION RIGHTS
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to (i) request access to, rectification of, or erasure of your personal information; (ii) restrict or object to our processing; (iii) receive an electronic copy of your personal information for purposes of transmitting it to another company (‘data portability’); and (iv) withdraw any consent you have previously provided to us. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at privacy@gettrackit.com. We will respond to your request in accordance with, and within the timeframe required by, applicable law.
